Do's

  • Spot clean only when necessary. You can use a 1:100 ratio of room temperature or lukewarm water and dish soap or a mild detergent, and a soft cloth (like microfiber) to gently spot clean your rug. You need very little soap to avoid adding too much to your cleaning solution otherwise the soap will cause the fibers to fry funky.
  • Air dry your rug in a well-ventilated area after cleaning or if it gets damp
  • Gently vacuum your rug to keep it clean and looking new for longer (but don't use an attachment with a beater bar or brush!)

Don't

  • Don't put your rug in a washing machine or dryer. The heat and forceful agitation can cause permanent damage to the rug, and submerging them in water can damage the adhesive and fibers.
  • Don't dry clean your rug.
  • Don't use any type of bristle or brush to clean your rugs (this includes beater bars/brushes on vacuums).
  • Don't expose your rug to high heat (heat guns, blow dryers, fireplaces, etc.) as this can melt the fibers.
